Top 25 Engineering Colleges Of Kerala.

The following list lists the top engineering colleges of kerala. The information is got from the last rank details and the information is not based on the analysis of colleges. The best way of evaluating a college is to look at the peoples choices. That's why I took the last rank details as the selection criteria. Because before applying to a college the parent or student studies the colleges in kerala by asking to teachers and experts, that evaluation is reflected on the last rank details and it will be much valuable than any other information in this field. However when comes above 20 the ranks won't reflect the correct details because at that time giving options will be based on the location of the students, because the standard of the colleges above 20 will almost the same. Like your ranks, when it comes above 15k it won't show your real merit! , some people may get those ranks by blind marking.

Think wisely before giving options,it is your life, treat 'giving options' very serious. Don't play with your career. Holding a ceritficate of engineering won't be helpful in life , where you are from is the most important.

Some good colleges in private sectors are not included in this list. The list from the last rank details of EC branch in all colleges.

I haven't included the catholic colleges in my list. And you can take rajagiri as one in the top15 and others are ......... use your brain and think wisely.
It is not the college it is you and you are marketom urself in the industry.

I've mentioned how i made these lists, in the post and it is not my personal opinion. And the reply to the comments are just personal, I don't consider those colleges as colleges they are just schools still following the old principles of spoon feeding ....... how can i call them colleges ??

Note: 'Again a personal opinion' and the ranklist I've made is without considering most of the colleges in private sectors.

sir..the list given by mr chullickal is authentic and genuine enough..i think you are getting obsessed with catholic colleges.but the truth remains that only rajagiri is worth of even comming close to a place in the top 20.and i would also like to say that this list,even though not very correct is good enough to guide students to the right colleges.sir,mr chullickal has published this list on the basis of his research.you should not critisise him without doing any analysis or research..sorry to say sir,but you are a fake who thinks christian colleges are better than the gov. or aided colleges..but the fact is,your concept is absolutely wrong..

Hi all ...

I want to say something about TKM college of engineering.

I'm from that college ..

DON'T GO FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERING .. The teachers there are psychos ...They want you guys to fail ..TKM has got a lot of issues regarding sessional marks . Search in youtube you will find some.

Other dept. are good. Especially mechanical (the best in kerala)

Most of the Engg college in Kerala are on par with each other. There is a severe shortage of good staff in emerging braches like EC & CSE.In addtion there is a shorage of good research and study guides.

i am a student of amaljyothy....and it doesn't deserve a place in this list...coz it is really place where the real pschos live...they treat students like shit...everyone there has got some problems...frm my experiance studying there i can tell no one studied in amaljyothy will win there life ultimately...coz even the principal dont know what the lif is...they can only produce tacho maniacs...AMALJYOTHY SUCKS...

you never going to get out as an ENGINEER, if you go for amaljoyti or rajagiri .... You may get placements (everyone knows how they get placements, check who are the guys who gets dropped during the training periods of infosys) i know that's better than nothing .............
Do anyone know how the chicken for KFC are fed. They cut the beak and tie them into a tube through which they get food and minerals and hormones which make their meat tender and useless as an organism (but very good for eating, try KFC!!!)

This is the case with students from these self financing colleges. They get good grades, may be placements (hopefully). But useless or incompetent in any other respect, if the kid follows exactly what the management says. There is still hope, only if he breaks the cuffs.

this list aint got any problem... christian colleges do nothing but guide their students to class rooms like a herd of sheep...do you call that a college? get some life people..grown up people treated like retardeds.. pity!

ah people in kerala are obsessed with rajagiri...come out of it man....rajagiri is not the only place to go there are better places in the world...a college is not supposed to teach only engineering it also has to make you a good citizen and above all a good human...in most of the colleges emphasis is laid only on securing good marks,job and not on understanding the subject or enjoying it...come on guys enjoy engineering its awesome.......

Rajagiri,st joseph.. etc TOPS only in their facilities not in academics..

According to students preference,

CET is the toppest college, after that MEC comes,
then SCT trivandrum, then TKM college etc..

these are the colleges with good placements and academic reports.

As far as I know TKM has got the best faculty in Kerala... most of the engineering text books written by faculties from TKM... 50% are IIT passouts..

FYI.. computer science is always the best course available by if we consider the JOB opportunities and average payscale.. whether there is global slowdown/recession or not...

I never done a deep analysis on these colleges, but I know a few students from Chengannoor, if you want to opt EC and go for higher studies to IITs or NITs you better choose one which is closer to your hometown.. If your priority is securing a Job, then try any course in top 10 colleges that I've listed... Best of luck...
