what is the hkcmd and persistence module and what do they do how do i fix this

Dark Angel

every time i turn my computer on 2 message comes saying hkcmd module and the persistence module has stopped working, how do i fix this and what is the hkcmd and persistence module and what do they do?

Hi,

hkcmd Module is a Security Task Manager from Intel that displays detailed information about all running processes (applications, DLLs, BHOs and services). For each process, it improves on Windows Task Manager, providing file name and directory path, security risk rating, description, start time, CPU usage graph, embedded hidden functions e.g. keyboard monitoring, browser supervision or manipulation, process type e.g. visible window, systray program, DLL, IE-plugin, service, and more. The Security Task Manager recognizes also virtual driver software, services, BHO and other processes hidden from the Windows task manager. Download it from here:

as for the persistence module it is meant to automate the generation of software components that interface with persistent storage by the means of an Object Oriented API.

The goal of this module is to increase the productivity of the software developers by avoiding the tedious task of implementing classes of objects from a software project model that map the objects data in persistent storage.

Your best bet is going to be to do a rollback to a restore point of about two weeks ago to avoid any futile laborious tasks

remove
1. Click Start
2. Point to All Programs
3. Point to Accessories
4. Point to System Tools
5. Click System Restore and click on Next button
6. Select "Choose a different restore point" and click on Next button
7. Select the desired date time and description of the restore point.
8. Click on Next button.
9. Click on Next button to begin the restore process.
10. Click on Yes in the confirmation message box that opens.

The computer will shut down and restartautomatically after the restoration completes

My HP laptop which I bought last ay seems to take significantly longer
to finish the boot process than it did several months go.
If I do a process tree (see below) with nothing open that I am running
it shows an incredible 66 processes from Symantec, MS, and HP mainly.
I'm not sure how much memory or CPU this stuff uses, but it must take
along time to load and initialize on startup correct? Is this typical ?
Is that stuff slowing down my machine and will only get worse ? What
should I or could I do ?
